The South Bend Riley Wildcats volleyball squad (South Bend, IN), was edged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Marquette Catholic Blazers (Michigan City, IN)

With the win, Marquette Catholic improves its record to 20-9 on the season. The Blazers host Washington Township (Valparaiso, IN) to meet the Senators in a non-league contest on Tuesday, October 7. The Senators enter the contest with a record of 13-10. Washington Township lost 3-0 in their recent non-league contest against Morgan Township (Valparaiso, IN)

Next, the Wildcats meet the Morgan Township Cherokees (Valparaiso, IN) in a non-league contest, on Monday, October 6. South Bend Riley will attempt to move on its 7-23 season record.
