Trico Pioneers (Campbell Hill, IL) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Sparta Bulldogs (Sparta, IL), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Trico upgrades its record to 22-6 on the campaign. The Pioneers travel to Marissa/Coulterville (Marissa, IL) to face the Meteors in a non-league test on Saturday, October 4. The Meteors go into the test with a record of 16-5. Marissa/Coulterville won 2-0 in their recent league test against Dupo (Dupo, IL)

The Bulldogs now own a 8-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Madison for a non-league test on Tuesday, October 7.
