October 5, 2021: Adel, GA 31620 Spectators at Tuesday's league match between the Cook Hornets (Adel, GA) and the visiting Thomasville Bulldogs (Thomasville, GA), witnessed Cook's softball squad prevail over Thomasville by a count of 9-1.
The Hornets now sport a 18-3 record. They play next when they host Valdosta for a non-league match on Wednesday, October 6. Cook will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 17-1 league loss to Lee County (Leesburg, GA). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-14.
With the loss, Thomasville moves to 10-12 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Lanier County (Lakeland, GA) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league match on Wednesday, October 6. The Bulldogs go into the match with a record of 18-5. Lanier County won 14-0 in their recent league match against Atkinson County (Pearson, GA)
