In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Smoky Valley Vikings (Lindsborg, KS) volleyball squad knocked off the host Halstead Dragons (Halstead, KS), by a margin of 2-0.

Next up, the Vikings battle the Pratt Greenbacks (Pratt, KS) in a Central Kansas contest, on Tuesday, October 12. Smoky Valley will attempt to better on its 25-3 season record. The Greenbacks come into the contest with a 12-17 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Hillsboro (Hillsboro, KS).
