Texas High School Football - Medina Valley can't get by Nixon

The Nixon Mustangs held off the visiting Medina Valley Panthers football team by a final score of 16-14 in Thursday's league outing.

With the win, Nixon improves its record to 3-3 on the season. The Mustangs travel to South San Antonio (San Antonio, TX) to confront the Bobcats in a 5A-1 Region IV District 13 outing on Friday, October 13. The Bobcats go into the outing with a record of 2-5. South San Antonio won 29-7 in their recent league outing against Winn (Eagle Pass, TX)

With the loss, Medina Valley moves to 3-4 on the season. The Panthers host Southwest (San Antonio, TX) to confront the Dragons in a 5A-1 Region IV District 13 outing on Friday, October 13. The Dragons go into the outing with a record of 5-1. Southwest won 47-7 in their recent league outing against Nixon (Laredo, TX)
