October 5, 2023: Alexandria, VA 22307 The West Potomac Wolverines football team (Alexandria, VA), was beaten 36-6 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the visiting Oakton Cougars (Vienna, VA)
The Cougars (4-0) will now prepare for their challenge against South Lakes (Reston, VA). The Seahawks come into the non-league challenge with a 3-1 record. In their last challenge, South Lakes achieved victory over Chantilly (Chantilly, VA), 14-6, in a non-league challenge.
The Wolverines now sport a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to West Springfield for a non-league challenge on Thursday, October 12. West Potomac will meet a Spartans team coming off a 14-8 non-league win over Robinson (Fairfax, VA). The Spartans record now stands at 2-2.
