October 5, 2023: Indian Trail, NC 28079 The Porter Ridge Pirates (Indian Trail, NC) soccer bounced the visiting South Point Red Raiders (Belmont, NC), 4-0 in Thursday's non-league bout.
With the win, Porter Ridge moves its record to 11-3 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Sun Valley (Monroe, NC) to battle the Spartans in a Southern Carolina 4A bout on Monday, October 9. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 6-5. Sun Valley 0-0 in their recent non-league bout against West Stanly (Oakboro, NC)
In their next game, the Red Raiders battle the Forestview Jaguars (Gastonia, NC) in a Big South 3A bout, on Monday, October 9. South Point will attempt to move on its 8-4 season record. The Jaguars go into the bout with a 3-6 record after their 3-1 league win over Crest (Shelby, NC).
