The Battery Creek Dolphins volleyball team (Beaufort, SC), was dropped 3-0 in Thursday's league challenge with the host Hanahan Hawks (Hanahan, SC)

The Hawks (10-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Northwood Academy (Charleston, SC). The Chargers enter the non-league challenge with a 21-8 record. In their last challenge, Northwood Academy was dropped by Wilson Hall (Sumter, SC), 3-2, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Dolphins meet the Philip Simmons Iron Horses (Charleston, SC) in a AAA Region 8 challenge, on Wednesday, October 11. Battery Creek will attempt to move on its 5-10 season record. The Iron Horses enter the challenge with a 33-7 record after their 3-1 league win over Hanahan (Hanahan, SC).
