October 5, 2023: Blacksburg, SC 29702 The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Greer Middle College Blazers (Taylors, SC) and the host Blacksburg Wildcats (Blacksburg, SC), saw Greer Middle College's volleyball squad beat Blacksburg by a tally of 3-1.
With the win, Greer Middle College upgrades its record to 7-11 on the year. The Blazers host Landrum (Landrum, SC) to play the Cardinals in a AA Region 1 bout on Tuesday, October 10. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 15-7. Landrum won 3-1 in their recent league bout against Greenville Tech Charter (Greenville, SC)
The Wildcats now own a 1-16 record. They play next when they host Liberty for a AA Region 1 bout on Tuesday, October 10. Blacksburg will play a Red Devils squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Chesnee (Chesnee, SC). The Red Devils record now stands at 8-10.
