Kentucky High School Volleyball - Nicholas County edged by Bracken County
October 5, 2023: Brooksville, KY 41004 The Bracken County Polar Bears held off the visiting Nicholas County Bluejackets volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Polar Bears now have a 14-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rowan County for a non-league test on Saturday, October 7. Bracken County will confront a Vikings team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Montgomery County (Mt. Sterling, KY). The Vikings record now stands at 9-16.
The Bluejackets (13-11) will now prepare for their game against Harrison County (Cynthiana, KY). The Thorobreds enter the District 38 game with a 24-9 record.
