The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Fort Mill Yellow Jackets (Fort Mill, SC) and the visiting Spring Valley Vikings (Columbia, SC), saw Fort Mill's volleyball squad beat Spring Valley by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Fort Mill upgrades its record to 14-6 on the year. The Yellow Jackets host Clover (Clover, SC) to play the Blue Eagles in a AAAAA Region 3 bout on Tuesday, October 10. The Blue Eagles go into the bout with a record of 17-13. Clover won 3-1 in their recent league bout against Blythewood (Blythewood, SC)

The Vikings now own a 6-16 record. They play next when they host Woodmont for a non-league bout on Saturday, October 7. Spring Valley will play a Wildcats squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Hillcrest (Simpsonville, SC). The Wildcats record now stands at 12-9.
