The Georgetown Day Mighty Hoppers volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Sidwell Friends Quakers to 0 in the Mighty Hoppers league victory on Thursday.

The Mighty Hoppers now have a 11-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Our Lady of Good Counsel for a non-league game on Wednesday, October 11. Georgetown Day will meet a Falcons team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Bishop O'Connell (Arlington, VA). The Falcons record now stands at 8-8.
