The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the McDowell Trojans (Erie, PA) and the visiting Grove City Eagles (Grove City, PA), saw McDowell's volleyball squad beat Grove City by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, McDowell upgrades its record to 6-4 on the year. The Trojans travel to Cathedral Prep (Erie, PA) to play the Ramblers in a District 10 Region 5 bout on Tuesday, October 10. The Ramblers go into the bout with a record of 8-12. Cathedral Prep lost 3-2 in their recent non-league bout against Mercyhurst Prep (Erie, PA)
