October 5, 2023: Cadiz, KY 42211 The McLean County Cougars (Calhoun, KY) volleyball overcame the host Trigg County Wildcats (Cadiz, KY), 3-0 in Thursday's non-league outing.
With the win, McLean County upgrades its record to 8-18 on the year. The Cougars host Union County (Morganfield, KY) to face the Braves in a non-league outing on Monday, October 9. The Braves go into the outing with a record of 11-9. Union County lost 3-2 in their recent non-league outing against Caldwell County (Princeton, KY)
The Wildcats now own a 1-14 record. They play next when they travel to Hopkins County Central for a non-league outing on Tuesday, October 10. Trigg County will face a Storm squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Madisonville-North Hopkins (Madisonville, KY). The Storm record now stands at 8-15.
