October 5, 2024: Craigmont, ID 83523 In Saturday's non-league match, the host Lewis County co-op [Highland/Nezperce] football squad scored a good 14-0 victory over the Clark Fork Wampus Cats.
The (1-4) will now prepare for their match against Deary (Deary, ID). The Mustangs enter the 1A White Pine (8 Man) match with a 2-4 record. In their last match, Deary was outscored by Lakeside (Plummer, ID), 40-38, in a non-league match.
Coming up next, the Wampus Cats confront the Wallace Miners (Wallace, ID) in a 1A North Star (8 Man) match, on Friday, October 11. Clark Fork will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Miners enter the match with a 5-1 record after their 52-28 non-league win over Genesee/Colton WA (Genesee, ID).
