Pennsylvania High School Soccer - Troy knocks off Jersey Shore
October 5, 2024: Jersey Shore, PA 17740 The Troy Trojans (Troy, PA) soccer overwhelmed the host Jersey Shore Bulldogs (Jersey Shore, PA), 7-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
The Trojans now hold a 13-1 record. They play next when they host Wyalusing Valley for a PIAA District IV-A challenge on Wednesday, October 9. Troy will encounter a Rams squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Sullivan County (Laporte, PA). The Rams record now stands at 8-4.
With the loss, Jersey Shore moves to 1-11 on the year. The Bulldogs host Central Columbia (Bloomsburg, PA) to encounter the Bluejays in a PIAA District IV-AA challenge on Tuesday, October 8. The Bluejays go into the challenge with a record of 12-1. Central Columbia won 7-1 in their recent league challenge against Shamokin Area (Coal Township, PA)
