New Jersey High School Soccer - Ocean Township knocks off Lakewood
October 5, 2024: Oakhurst, NJ 07755 In Saturday's non-league outing, the host Ocean Township Spartans soccer squad scored a nice 8-0 victory over the Lakewood Piners.
The Spartans (4-6) will now prepare for their outing against Manalapan (Englishtown, NJ). The Braves go into the non-league outing with a 6-5 record. In their last outing, Manalapan was overwhelmed by St. John-Vianney (Holmdel, NJ), 1-0, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Piners confront the Pinelands Regional Wildcats (Tuckerton, NJ) in a Shore B - South outing, on Tuesday, October 8. Lakewood will attempt to improve on its 0-11 season record. The Wildcats go into the outing with a 1-9 record after their 4-0 non-league loss to Red Bank Regional (Little Silver, NJ).
