New York High School Football - Canisius sneaks past St. Francis
October 5, 2024: Hamburg, NY 14010 The Canisius Crusaders football squad scored 13 points and limited the host St. Francis Red Raiders to 7 in the Crusaders non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Crusaders now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Bishop Timon-St. Jude for a non-league test on Saturday, October 12. Canisius will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 27-6 non-league loss to Wilson (Wilson, NY). The Tigers record now stands at 2-2.
With the defeat, St. Francis drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Red raiders travel to St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute (Buffalo, NY) to meet the Marauders in a non-league test on Thursday, October 10. The Marauders come into the test with a record of 2-0.
