October 5, 2024: Aurora, IL 60505 The Aurora East Tomcats soccer squad scored 4 points and held the visiting Round Lake Panthers to 3 in the Tomcats non-league victory on Saturday.
The Tomcats now hold a 7-7 record. They play next when they travel to Bartlett for a Upstate Eight - West bout on Tuesday, October 8. Aurora East will play a Hawks squad coming off a 6-1 league loss to Elgin (Elgin, IL). The Hawks record now stands at 8-4.
With the loss, Round Lake moves to 7-8 on the year. The Panthers travel to Larkin (Elgin, IL) to play the Royals in a non-league bout on Monday, October 7. The Royals go into the bout with a record of 3-6. Larkin lost 5-1 in their recent league bout against West Aurora (Aurora, IL)
