Pennsylvania High School Soccer - Baldwin nudges Shaler Area
October 5, 2024: Pittsburgh, PA 15236 Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Baldwin Highlanders (Pittsburgh, PA) and the visiting Shaler Area Titans (Pittsburgh, PA), saw Baldwin's soccer squad hold off Shaler Area by a score of 2-1.
The Highlanders (2-11) will now prepare for their battle against Ambridge (Ambridge, PA). The Bridgers enter the non-league battle with a 3-7 record. In their last battle, Ambridge was edged by Chartiers Valley (Bridgeville, PA), 5-0, in a league battle.
Next up, the Titans confront the Hampton Talbots (Allison Park, PA) in a WPIAL AAA 1 battle, on Tuesday, October 8. Shaler Area will attempt to improve on its 4-8 season record. The Talbots enter the battle with a 8-2 record after their 7-1 league win over Armstrong (Kittanning, PA).
