In Saturday's non-league outing, the host Blue Valley Northwest Huskies soccer squad scored a tight 1-0 win over the Shawnee Mission South Raiders.
The Huskies (3-3) will now prepare for their outing against Saint Thomas Aquinas (Overland Park, KS). The Saints enter the Eastern Kansas outing with a 5-6 record.
Next up, the Raiders confront the Olathe North Eagles (Olathe, KS) in a Sunflower outing, on Tuesday, October 8. Shawnee Mission South will attempt to improve on its 7-4 season record. The Eagles enter the outing with a 4-3 record after their 3-2 league win over Shawnee Mission Northwest (Shawnee Mission, KS).
