Ohio High School Soccer - Lutheran West nudges Garfield
October 5, 2024: Rocky River, OH 44116 Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Lutheran West Longhorns (Rocky River, OH) and the visiting Garfield Rams (Akron, OH), saw Lutheran West's soccer squad hold off Garfield by a count of 1-0.
The Longhorns (2-10) will now prepare for their battle against Lincoln West (Cleveland, OH). The Wolverines enter the non-league battle with a 12-1 record. In their last battle, Lincoln West tipped Bard Early College (Cleveland, OH), 7-1, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Rams confront the Marlington Dukes (Alliance, OH) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, October 8. Garfield will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record. The Dukes enter the battle with a 8-5 record after their 4-1 non-league win over Tuscarawas Valley (Zoarville, OH).
