Pennsylvania High School Soccer - Governor Mifflin nudges Twin Valley
October 5, 2024: Shillington, PA 19607 Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Governor Mifflin Mustangs (Shillington, PA) and the visiting Twin Valley Raiders (Elverson, PA), saw Governor Mifflin's soccer squad hold off Twin Valley by a count of 3-2.
The Mustangs (3-11) will now prepare for their battle against Spring-Ford (Royersford, PA). The Rams enter the non-league battle with a 6-6 record. In their last battle, Spring-Ford Perkiomen Valley (Collegeville, PA), 0-0, in a league battle.
Next up, the Raiders confront the Fleetwood Tigers (Fleetwood, PA) in a Berks County 2 battle, on Tuesday, October 8. Twin Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 2-15 season record. The Tigers enter the battle with a 11-4 record after their 6-0 league win over Exeter Township (Reading, PA).
