October 5, 2024: Springfield, VT 05156 The Green Mountain Chieftains soccer squad scored 3 points and held the host Springfield Cosmos to 1 in the Chieftains league victory on Saturday.
The Chieftains now possess a 8-2 record. They play next when they travel to Bellows Falls for a SVL-C bout on Wednesday, October 9.
With the loss, Springfield moves to 8-2 on the year. The Cosmos host Randolph (Randolph, VT) to play the Ghosts in a Capital bout on Monday, October 7. The Ghosts go into the bout with a record of 6-3.
