Michigan High School Soccer - Hastings nudges Olivet
October 5, 2024: Olivet, MI 49076 Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Hastings Saxons (Hastings, MI) and the host Olivet Eagles (Olivet, MI), saw Hastings's soccer squad hold off Olivet by a score of 4-3.
The Saxons (11-8) will now prepare for their battle against South Christian (Grand Rapids, MI). The Sailors enter the non-league battle with a 16-1 record. In their last battle, South Christian tipped Wyoming (Wyoming, MI), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Eagles confront the Pennfield Panthers (Battle Creek, MI) in a non-league battle, on Monday, October 7. Olivet will attempt to improve on its 6-8 season record. The Panthers enter the battle with a 2-15 record after their 4-1 non-league loss to Kalamazoo Christian (Kalamazoo, MI).
