Pennsylvania High School Soccer - South Park nudges West Mifflin
October 5, 2024: West Mifflin, PA 15122 In Saturday's non-league outing, the visiting South Park Eagles soccer squad scored a tight 1-0 victory over the West Mifflin Titans.
The Eagles (12-2) will now prepare for their outing against Steel Valley (Munhall, PA). The Ironmen go into the WPIAL AA 3 outing with a 2-11 record. In their last outing, Steel Valley was edged by Elizabeth Forward (Elizabeth, PA), 6-0, in a league outing.
Next up, the Titans confront the Belle Vernon Leopards (Belle Vernon, PA) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, October 8. West Mifflin will attempt to improve on its 4-9 season record. The Leopards go into the outing with a 5-6 record after their 7-0 league loss to Taylor Allderdice (Pittsburgh, PA).
