California High School Volleyball - Granada over Alameda
October 5, 2024: Livermore, CA 94550 Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Granada Matadors (Livermore, CA) and the visiting Alameda Hornets (Alameda, CA), observed Granada's volleyball team top Alameda by a count of 2-0.
The Matadors (6-13) will now prepare for their contest against Saint Mary's (Albany, CA). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 13-9 record. In their last contest, Saint Mary's notched a victory over Pinole Valley (Pinole, CA), 3-0, in a league contest.
Next, the Hornets battle the Encinal Jets (Alameda, CA) in a West Alameda County - Foothill contest, on Wednesday, October 9. Alameda will attempt to move on its 7-10 season record. The Jets enter the contest with a 11-9 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to St. Joseph Notre Dame (Alameda, CA).
