October 5, 2024: Versailles, KY 40383 The Woodford County Yellowjackets (Versailles, KY) volleyball held off the visiting Bourbon County Colonels (Paris, KY), 2-1 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Yellowjackets now possess a 11-9 record. They play next when they host John Hardin for a non-league bout on Saturday, October 5. Woodford County will clash with a Bulldogs team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Central (Louisville, KY). The Bulldogs record now stands at 12-11.
With the loss, Bourbon County drops to 12-10 on the campaign. The Colonels travel to Anderson County (Lawrenceburg, KY) to clash with the Bearcats in a non-league bout on Saturday, October 5. The Bearcats come into the bout with a record of 2-13. Anderson County won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Henry County (New Castle, KY)
