The Penney Hornets (Hamilton, MO) volleyball held off the visiting Brookfield Bulldogs (Brookfield, MO), 2-1 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Hornets now possess a 2-16 record. They play next when they travel to Maysville for a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 8. Penney will clash with a Wolverines team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to North Platte (Dearborn, MO). The Wolverines record now stands at 5-8.
