Owyhee Storm (Meridian, ID) followers left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Desert Hills Thunder (St. George, UT), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Owyhee advances its record to 17-3 on the season. The Storm host Rocky Mountain (Meridian, ID) to face the Grizzlies in a 5A Southern Idaho test on Tuesday, October 8. The Grizzlies go into the test with a record of 19-4. Rocky Mountain won 3-1 in their recent non-league test against Highland (Pocatello, ID)

The Thunder now sport a 17-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Crimson Cliffs for a 4A Region 9 test on Tuesday, October 8. Desert Hills will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Hillcrest (Midvale, UT). The Mustangs record now stands at 17-6.
