New York High School Volleyball - Oneonta tips Fonda-Fultonville
October 5, 2024: Oneonta, NY 13820 In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Oneonta Yellowjackets volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Fonda-Fultonville Valley Hawks.
The Yellowjackets (1-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Chenango Valley (Binghamton, NY). The Warriors enter the Section 4 Southern Tier challenge with a 0-4 record. In their last challenge, Chenango Valley was tipped by Owego Free Academy (Owego, NY), 3-1, in a league challenge.
Next, the Valley Hawks meet the Oppenheim-Ephratah-St. Johnsville Wolves (St. Johnsville, NY) in a Section 2 Western - Northern challenge, on Tuesday, October 8. Fonda-Fultonville will attempt to upgrade on its 12-5 season record. The Wolves enter the challenge with a 7-6 record after their 3-0 league loss to Notre Dame Bishop Gibbons (Schenectady, NY).
