Nebraska High School Volleyball - Pius X tips Gretna East

In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Pius X Thunderbolts volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Gretna East Griffins.

The Thunderbolts (10-17) will now prepare for their challenge against Elkhorn South (Omaha, NE). The Storm enter the A District challenge with a 15-6 record. In their last challenge, Elkhorn South was tipped by Marian (Omaha, NE), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Griffins meet the Elkhorn North (Elkhorn, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, October 8. Gretna East will attempt to upgrade on its 21-5 season record. The enter the challenge with a 18-6 record after their 3-0 league win over Bennington (Bennington, NE).
