Mercer Tigers (Mercer, WI) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host South Shore Cardinals (Port Wing, WI), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Mercer improves its record to 23-8 on the season. The Tigers travel to Northwood (Minong, WI) to face the Evergreens in a non-league test on Saturday, October 5. The Evergreens go into the test with a record of 2-10. Northwood lost 3-0 in their recent league test against Clear Lake (Clear Lake, WI)

The Cardinals now own a 4-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Drummond for a Indianhead - East test on Monday, October 7. South Shore will face a Lumberjacks squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Mercer (Mercer, WI). The Lumberjacks record now stands at 8-7.
