North Carolina High School Volleyball - Myers Park over Sun Valley

The Myers Park Mustangs (Charlotte, NC) volleyball knocked off the visiting Sun Valley Spartans (Monroe, NC), 3-0 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Mustangs now possess a 15-6 record. They play next when they travel to Berry for a So Meck 4A bout on Tuesday, October 8. Myers Park will clash with a Cardinals team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Ballantyne Ridge (Charlotte, NC). The Cardinals record now stands at 3-14.

With the loss, Sun Valley drops to 13-10 on the campaign. The Spartans host Marvin Ridge (Waxhaw, NC) to clash with the Mavericks in a Southern Carolina 4A bout on Monday, October 7. The Mavericks come into the bout with a record of 25-3. Marvin Ridge won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Ardrey Kell (Charlotte, NC)
