In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Warren-Alvarado-Oslo Ponies volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Northern Freeze co-op [Marshall County Central/Tri-County] Northern Freeze.

The Ponies (2-20) will now prepare for their challenge against Crookston (Crookston, MN). The Pirates come into the Polar North challenge with a 0-14 record. In their last challenge, Crookston was nudged by Red Lake County Central (Oklee, MN), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Northern Freeze meet the Lake Park-Audubon Raiders (Lake Park, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 5.
