The Capitol Lions football team (Baton Rouge, LA), was ripped 55-20 in Thursday's league challenge with the visiting Episcopal Knights (Baton Rouge, LA)

The Knights (6-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Dunham (Baton Rouge, LA). The Tigers come into the 2A District 6 challenge with a 5-1 record. In their last challenge, Dunham trounced Northeast (Pride, LA), 72-14, in a league challenge.

The Lions now sport a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they host East Feliciana for a 2A District 6 challenge on Friday, October 14. Capitol will meet a Tigers team coming off a 44-18 non-league win over Baker (Baker, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 4-2.
