October 6, 2022: Arlington, VA 22207 The Herndon Hornets (Herndon, VA) football defeated the host Yorktown Patriots (Arlington, VA), 28-8 in Thursday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Hornets face the Washington-Liberty Generals (Arlington, VA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, October 13. Herndon will attempt to move on its 6-1 season record. The Generals enter the bout with a 3-1 record after their 63-7 non-league loss to Langley (McLean, VA).
