Maryland High School Football - Calvert can't get by Northern
October 6, 2022: Prince Frederick, MD 20678 Northern Patriots (Owings, MD) fans left the game content Thursday as they saw their football team nip the host Calvert Cavaliers (Prince Frederick, MD), 21-14 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Northern improves its record to 6-0 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Huntingtown (Huntingtown, MD) to confront the Hurricanes in a non-league test on Thursday, October 13. The Hurricanes come into the test with a record of 4-1. Huntingtown lost 21-0 in their recent non-league test against North Point (Waldorf, MD)
The Cavaliers now sport a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Patuxent for a non-league game on Saturday, October 15. Calvert will battle a Panthers team coming off a 34-8 non-league win over Westlake (Waldorf, MD). The Panthers record now stands at 3-3.
