October 6, 2022: Sharon, PA 16146 Slippery Rock Rockets (Slippery Rock, PA) backers left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the host Sharon Tigers (Sharon, PA), 1-0 in a league match.
Next up, the Rockets battle the Karns City Gremlins (Karns City, PA) in a non-league match, on Monday, October 10. Slippery Rock will attempt to better on its 10-2 season record. The Gremlins come into the match with a 0-1 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Wilmington (New Wilmington, PA).
With the loss, Sharon drops to 1-1 on the campaign.
