Georgia High School Softball - Banks County bounces Providence Christian Academy
October 6, 2022: Lilburn, GA 30047 Banks County Leopards (Homer, GA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Providence Christian Academy Storm (Lilburn, GA), 13-1 in a league challenge.
The Leopards now sport a 15-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to East Jackson for a 2A Region 8 challenge on Tuesday, October 11. Banks County will face a Eagles squad coming off a 23-8 league loss to Union County (Blairsville, GA). The Eagles record now stands at 2-16.
With the loss, Providence Christian Academy falls to 11-11 on the campaign. The Storm travel to Union County (Blairsville, GA) to face the Panthers in a 2A Region 8 challenge on Tuesday, October 11. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 16-5. Union County won 23-8 in their recent league challenge against East Jackson (Commerce, GA)
