The Apprentice Academy Red Wolves volleyball squad (Monroe, NC), was outscored 3-0 in Thursday's league bout with the host Corvian Community Cardinals (Charlotte, NC)

With the win, Corvian Community upgrades its record to 9-7 on the year. The Cardinals travel to Cabarrus Charter (Concord, NC) to play the Huskies in a Metro Eight 1A bout on Friday, October 7. The Huskies go into the bout with a record of 4-9. Cabarrus Charter won 3-2 in their recent league bout against Sugar Creek (Charlotte, NC)
