October 6, 2022: Covington, VA 24426 The Covington Cougars volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Parry McCluer Fighting Blues to 0 in the Cougars league victory on Thursday.
The Cougars now possess a 17-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Cross for a non-league game on Wednesday, October 12.
The Fighting Blues (8-4) will now prepare for their game against Riverheads (Staunton, VA). The Gladiators enter the non-league game with a 6-7 record. In their last game, Riverheads defeated Wilson Memorial (Fishersville, VA), 3-0, in a league game.
