The Arlington Spy Ponders football team (Arlington, MA), was beaten 35-20 in Friday's league challenge with the host Reading Memorial Rockets (Reading, MA)

The Rockets (1-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Winchester (Winchester, MA). The Red & Black come into the Middlesex - Liberty challenge with a 4-1 record. In their last challenge, Winchester achieved victory over Melrose (Melrose, MA), 17-12, in a non-league challenge.

The Spy Ponders now sport a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they host Belmont for a Middlesex - Liberty challenge on Saturday, October 14. Arlington will meet a Marauders team coming off a 36-7 league win over Lexington (Lexington, MA). The Marauders record now stands at 3-2.
