October 6, 2023: Fort Thomas, KY 41075 The Boone County Rebels football team (Florence, KY), was ripped 53-7 in Friday's league challenge with the host Highlands Bluebirds (Fort Thomas, KY)
The Bluebirds (7-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Simon Kenton (Independence, KY). The Pioneers come into the non-league challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, Simon Kenton trounced Great Crossing (Georgetown, KY), 50-36, in a league challenge.
The Rebels now sport a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cooper for a 5A District 6 challenge on Friday, October 13. Boone County will meet a Jaguars team coming off a 49-7 league win over Scott (Covington, KY). The Jaguars record now stands at 6-2.
