In their next game, the Bears face the Prairiland Patriots (Pattonville, TX) in a 3A-2 Region III District 10 bout, on Friday, October 13. De Kalb will attempt to advance on its 4-1 season record. The Patriots enter the bout with a 3-4 record after their 32-16 league loss to Redwater (Redwater, TX).
The Brahmas (0-7) will now prepare for their bout against New Boston (New Boston, TX). The Lions enter the 3A-2 Region III District 10 bout with a 3-3 record. In their last bout, New Boston was overwhelmed by De Kalb (De Kalb, TX), 48-28, in a league bout.
