October 6, 2023: Denison, IA 51442 The Storm Lake Tornadoes football team (Storm Lake, IA), was beaten 41-13 in Friday's league challenge with the host Denison-Schleswig Monarchs (Denison, IA)
The Monarchs (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Sioux City West (Sioux City, IA). The Wolverines come into the non-league challenge with a 0-6 record. In their last challenge, Sioux City West was beaten by Le Mars (Le Mars, IA), 56-7, in a league challenge.
The Tornadoes now sport a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Spencer for a 4A District 1 challenge on Friday, October 13. Storm Lake will meet a Tigers team coming off a 69-6 league win over Sioux City West (Sioux City, IA). The Tigers record now stands at 1-7.
