The Hanover Hawks (Mechanicsville, VA) football routed the visiting Mechanicsville Mustangs (Mechanicsville, VA), 49-7 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Hawks face the Varina Blue Devils (Richmond, VA) in a Colonial bout, on Friday, October 13. Hanover will attempt to advance on its 4-2 season record. The Blue Devils enter the bout with a 4-1 record after their 21-13 league win over Glen Allen (Glen Allen, VA).
