West Virginia High School Football - Liberty defeats Hedgesville
October 6, 2023: Hedgesville, WV 25427 In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Liberty Lions football squad scored a good 28-12 victory over the Hedgesville Eagles.
In their next game, the Lions clash with the South Carroll Cavaliers (Sykesville, MD) in a Carroll County match, on Friday, October 13. Liberty will attempt to move on its 3-3 season record. The Cavaliers enter the match with a 0-6 record after their 24-17 league loss to Winters Mill (Westminster, MD).
The Eagles (3-4) will now prepare for their match against Musselman (Inwood, WV). The Applemen enter the Eastern Panhandle match with a 2-4 record. In their last match, Musselman dropped by Cabell Midland (Ona, WV), 42-14, in a non-league match.
