Virginia High School Football - Lancaster can't get by Northumberland
October 6, 2023: Heathsville, VA 22473 Northumberland Indians (Heathsville, VA) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team nip the visiting Lancaster Red Devils (Lancaster, VA), 25-22 in a league test.
With the triumph, Northumberland improves its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Essex (Tappahannock, VA) to confront the Trojans in a Northern Neck test on Friday, October 13. The Trojans come into the test with a record of 6-0. Essex won 52-7 in their recent league test against Rappahannock (Warsaw, VA)
With the loss, Lancaster drops to 4-2 on the campaign. The Red devils travel to Westmoreland (Montross, VA) to confront the Eagles in a Northern Neck test on Saturday, October 14. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 2-4. Westmoreland lost 40-36 in their recent league test against Colonial Beach (Colonial Beach, VA)
