In Friday's league game, the Middle Creek Mustangs (Apex, NC) football team smashed the visiting Panther Creek Catamounts (Cary, NC), by a final score of 45-13.

The Mustangs (4-3) will now prepare for their game against Apex (Apex, NC). The Cougars come into the 4A Southeast Wake game with a 6-1 record. In their last game, Apex overwhelmed Apex Friendship (Apex, NC), 38-28, in a league game.
